Reference Architectures

Reference architectures provide reusable architecture patterns for common supply chain integration and platform scenarios. Each pattern captures proven design decisions, component structures, and integration approaches that can be adapted and instantiated across specific solution blueprints.

The following reference architecture patterns are available:

  1. B2B Partner Integration — A standardised hybrid EDI and API gateway model for exchanging business documents and events with external trading partners including customers, suppliers, 3PLs, and carriers.

  2. Supply Chain Control Tower — A platform pattern for aggregating data from execution systems into a unified operational picture with real-time exception detection, alerting, and guided response workflows.

  3. S&OP Planning — An integrated demand and supply planning platform supporting the monthly S&OP cycle from demand signal collection through statistical forecasting, constrained planning, consensus review, and executive sign-off.

  4. Logistics Execution (ERP + WMS + TMS) — The integration pattern between ERP, Warehouse Management System, and Transportation Management System, establishing clear system-of-record boundaries and canonical data flows for the order-to-despatch process.

  5. Track & Trace — A platform pattern for real-time visibility of shipment location, condition, and status by ingesting events from IoT devices, carrier systems, and logistics partners into a unified visibility platform with consumer APIs.
